Goldflake Angelfish in reef aquarium with fin rot

Hi, I'm new to this site and I'm looking for some information on treating my goldflake angel. It is currently residing in my reef aquarium and is doing fantastic except he seems to have fin rot. He eats anything with gusto so was wondering if I could treat him with some antibiotic foods in the tank? Any help would be appreciated for he is the pride and joy of my reef tank. Sounds like a bacterial issue. Often simple things like improving water quality (water changes) and fortifying the food with selcon etc will help the fish's own immune system ward off this problem. If you don't see any improvement then qting combined with some antibiotics may be in order .. a double dose of maracyn 2 should suffice.
