Goniopora and Alveopora Show-Off Thread

Here's mine. I've had it for 2.5 years.

Here's a couple of crappy shots of mine. It's not as "tomato" looking in person, more like the lovely maroon that you see in the others.

I've had this one for 6 months now. It's grown a little, but not as fast as other corals.

It has a powerful sting (or chemical warfare). So far it has killed some elkhorn monti and green zoanthids-- both of which it has touched since it extends out more than it once did.

Also have solid pink, solid purplish/blue, another brighter green, and red with yellow centers.

And my single alveopora, very bleached but recovering nicely:

Here are some of mine gonioporas and pics of what they looked like when I found them.

Great to see these cool Gonis. I have a couple pics to share when my internet speeds up. It's slow here at this time.

Here is my green Goni. Was one of my first coral additions to my tank and have had it for 4 months now. It has grown considerable since I have had it, and nearly takes up one whole end of my 55 gal. The second two pics are after I fed it some gonipower. Its a pig and it swells up and retracts slightly, and you can see the bulbs in the center swelling. Feed it once a week, and would do it more but trying to get my phosphates down due to some cyano. I think that keeping them fed will hopefully keep it alive longer than the averages? Pics are not great since they are with my iphone, but is my and my kids favorite coral in the tank. I want a red one now.
