Goniopora Next to an Alveapora?

Anybody know if a Goniopora and Alveapora tolerate each others company, i.e. will they sting each other if placed close enough to touch?

I believe they would though I can't be sure, I have read they will sing other goniopora that are next to them. You will see the white "stingers" come out when they are upset. They can also play chemical warfare games in your tank.
