Goniopower Sliming

I have three small Goniopora colony's. Two pink and one ORA red. I recently bought some of the Goniopower powder and fed yesterday. I noticed that one of the pink colonies gave off a heavy slime coat right after, is this normal?
I also basted a tiny bit on my scoly to get a feeding response and it released some slime from its center. Weird? Normal? Don't worry so much?

Never heard of the powder. My red goniopora does just fine fending for itself. I've never tried directly feeding it.

Goniopower is a new food I believe it's by Justin credible its supposed to be great for gonis. Perhaps your over feeding I hear once or twice a week with that stuff
