Good Buy at Capitol?

So I suckered myself into a $60 store credit at Capitol Aquarium. I don't usually shop there so I was wondering if anyone knows what might be worth buying there. I pretty much know what not to buy so please don't focus on overpriced items. I am just looking for tips on what might be a good buy.

Thanks!

what did you return for credit? Its hard not to focus on overpriced items seeing how just about the whole store is overpriced. Last time i was there, they had small 1gallon acrylic tanks with filter, and a really nice overhead light setup. Very bright. They had a few on the counter with some zoa's, shrooms, and a hermit in them. I dunno, i thought they were really neat, wanted one for my robot workshop. They were like $45 or $50. you could alwase give the credit to me so i can buy one lol.

sometimes they have some good corals for decent prices. i got a sweet pagoda cup for 29. last time i was there they had some cool yumas (not just rics) for 30. you just have to go in and look... also if you use any of the ocean nutrition or sally's frozen foods their prices are pretty standard. HTH :)

Its hard to come up with a good deal there. You might just bring the kids down and use the credit to feed the koy in there pond.

Prepare a long waiting time before anyone will help you, they had only 3 people working when I was there last sunday.

Sometimes the have different fish that nobody has. I don't know, really but in all reality the money is already spent so buy something you need.

Go during the week. It's not as busy and it's a different staff. I've never had any problem getting help during that time.

When we do a full-on LFS recon, I like to 'speed mosey' Cap on the way to O St. just in case they have something unique... Which they sometimes do.
