Good Camera choice

There was a good reef photography primer on the Talking Reef podcast, episode 37. Look it up in iTunes. It was a very good beginner tutorial on aperture, shutter speeds, etc. Some of the advice may or may not apply (they say you have to use a tripod, but not if you get a camera with image stabilization like mine, etc), but it's very good all around. Also keep in mind that there are only a few really important things, and the rest can just kind of fall into place. Being able to use the aperture priority mode to get the right shutter speeds is one of those.
