Good colored dwarf angels?

best bet is to sell it locally because some stores dont give you $ for them. but you are overstocked as is so you know what to do

an LFS will most likely give you 250-500 dollars for those fish. they are common, and the LFS must make a profit. understand, this is a business, they need to make money too.

i like this angelfish a lot. if you have the cash, go ahead and swing for it.

Alright, alright but one last thing. How much should I get for these fish so I don't get shortchanged by somebody?

if you trade them in the stores that will take trade ins may give you 40-50% what they can sell them for. If you sell them to a private party you'll have to find somebody that wants the fish at perhaps lower than the LFS sells.

best way to get the best value for the fish is to plan ahead before purchasing and only buy fish you plan to keep over the long haul.

Also, by changing fish over and over in such a short period of time (I'm assuming without quarantine) you're just asking for trouble with the fish being stressed or getting some disease like ich.

I like to not feed the fish im removing for one or two days after I captured it and put it in the holding tank to calm it down before I make the final move. After I straighten up my tank I'll ask again on compatible things so as of now you guys don't need to stress anymore. Thanks

That's OK, best to do the research and ask questions before hand though

Think about the size of your tank and how much maintenance you have time for. If you got your dwarf lion to eat frozen, you must have done some effort to take care of the fish. This would be a good time to look at your tank and think about ultimately what you'd like to see (colors, movement, interesting fish etc.) A fish (or tank) doesn't have to be huge to be interesting :).

Depending on size
and how much the LFS usually sells them for...

IMO, you'd be lucky to get $100 'trade-in' value...
Maroon Clownfish (pair) $30
Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish:wave: $10
Blue Tang  $20
Sailfin Tang:wave: $20
Coral Banded Shrimp:wave: $10

Not actually one of the dwarf angels, its a Genicanthus. Oh, and good luck finding a healthy one of those.
In my 60 gallon Reef I have a C. bicolor and C. acanthops (African flameback). Its an interesting color combo. Blue and yellow vs. orange & almost purple. Lot's of color and movement. But Bicolors are notorious for dying on you and being Reef destroyers so not a good choice. Flameback would be good. Its small, hardy, but has LOT'S of Attitude. LOL
Cherubs(Atlantic Pygmy angel) are good, but aggressive.
This choice should be done after reducing that fish load.
Plus Maroons with percs? Your heading for a rumble, with them losing it. Maroons are killers, generally. Most aggressive clowns!
