Bought a Hi-sdard 1000W full spectrum led grow light for 5 bucks...Can i use it for corals. Sorry i cant post a pic now. Im on my phone. And dont know how. Lol.

Looks like way too much red/orange/yellow spectrum for an aquarium. Unless you could turn those channels way down(<5%) or use if for a refugium/ATS.

There are two switches. The on switch fires up the blue leds and the other switch fires up the other colors. What about using just the blue lights

here it is. the bloom switch does not work, so only the blue leds come on.

I’m no lighting expert which is why I stick to MH & T5 so I’m sure someone will chime in with more knowledge.

From what I can tell out of all of those LEDs there are only a few that are the spectrum that corals need. So I don’t think it will work for anything except for growing algea in your display. On top of that I don’t see how u will be able to get a spectrum that looks even remotely good to the eye for viewing the tank.

well i already got kessil lights. i picked this up in the hopes i could use in a future frag tank or something. i guess its to the storage build for this one.
