good group fish

Hello everyone... I'm looking for a fish that I keep as a group. I understand that fish will not school in our tanks. But I would like a get a fish of the same species that would give the effect.

I have a 90gal that currently has a
lawnmower blenny
Royal Gramma

I had planned on adding a group of Chromies but from I have read that will kill them selfs off until one or two are left.

I would also like to add the following
Wheeler Shrimp goby
Firefish
Ocellaris Clown

thanks for the advice.

If you're planning on a clown are you going to get a pair? It's not a huge school but much more fun to watch them as a pair and they're might even lay eggs

cardinalfish school together in aquariums as long as you get them all at the same time. i recommend tank raised banggai cardinals. if you do banggais, make sure they are tank raised, wild caught ones are half the price but always die. a trio of yellow headed jawfish would be pretty sweet IMO. a group of flasher wrasses would also be nice, but expensive

Well, sort of. Banggai cardinals can only be kept as a male+female pair or a single. Other cardinals qualify although they will eventually pair up.

I have 5 zebra gobies, that are always together, all sleep under the same rock...scare 1 of them, and all 5 shot into their cave!

do you guys think the Longspine Cardinalfish would work? I'm looking for something that will spend alot of time mid tank.

I have been looking at the liveaquaria.com site. Does anyone have any other resources I can use to browse for fish?

This same question was asked awhile ago and somebody suggested a few chalk bases. I dont have any experience with them but from what Ive read you can keep multiple specimens without a problem.
