Good or evil? Crab question

I picked up a piece of coral that had a crab hitch hiker. This is the best picture i could take. He was pretty nested inside of the coral. The only identifying mark I could find was a very white belly side. He has a clam type shell. I moved this guy to my sump for the time being.

Thanks, but I'll be keeping this little guy. I only pulled him because I wasnt sure what he would do.
