Good place to get plumbing fittings?

I'm going to need an assortment of fittings, threaded, barbed, barbed to threaded, etc. etc. Is Home Depot's selection any better than OSH? Because OSH didn't have much. If I'm going to make the trip to HD (or anywhere else anyone recommends) I'd like to get everything I need, or otherwise order everything from McMaster at once.

i think that lowes is better than HD....

yeah lowes always seems to have the parts that i need. plus, the people that work there actually know what they're doing. HD workers (at least all the ones ive been to) just walk around and dont offer much help

Ditto on Lowes....things are much better organized and easier to find.
