This is a day's worth of skim. Could this be any better and what can I do about the smell. Every time I am anywhere near the skimmer I get subtle whiffs of the skim. It is not constant but enough to be a bother.
If baking soda isn't enough, maybe activated carbon would do the trick. I know Eheim makes a relatively thin activated carbon pad (others must too, but I can't think of any), maybe something like that can be rigged inside the lid if there's room. Just a thought.
