Good skimmer to use without a sump?

My brother has a 75g without a sump hes looking for a great skimmer to use on his tank please came i have some suggestions to help him on his way?

RO bh-2000 is what I have on my 120 gal. sumpless softie/lps tank. great choice for the money.

i just got a reef octopus 100 hob and now i swear by RO. as 3dees said, get the bh 2000

You may be able to get away with the bh 1000. But for that size tank, I would go with the 2000

Amazon has good deals on them too

I am very interested. I like the idea of not spending $500 on something that can be handled for $200.

That extra $300 buys a lot of baby formula lol

We were looking at this one first but changed our mind for the high bioload he will eventually have.

My brother-in-law loves this skimmer its pulling some good skimate out of his tank and its really working well for him.

Does your brother have any mechanical filtration? How is the circulation within the tank? I have found sumpless tanks need these two to be very effective.

He also has a rena canister filter and x2 pm40's
