Good Wavemaker????

has anyone had any experience with the "Natural Wavemaker" and using Maxijets with it. It is the one that looks like a power strip but three of the outlets are used for wavemaking. I was thinking about getting one and maybe using the maxijets or the tunze nano stream jets.

Or has anyone got a good wavemaker setup in their RR tank that works good?

Thanks,
Robert

I've got the "natural wavemaker" powerstrip. Right now I don't have any pumps on it, but I used to. It seemed to work really well, but was hard on the pumps. My maxijets only lasted about 6 months under the torture and I have yet to replace them.

I built my own from an adjustable alternating relay can adjust time on between switches.
Wired 2 extension cord type strips(female end w/3 outlet sockets) on the output side of the relay and used one of the male ends to feed the 120vac. to the relay.
Its been running about 5 years. Unit switches one of the strips on while switching the other strip off and repeats however often it is set for.
I use 4 1200 maxi jets on mine as well,2 on strip (a) and 2 on strip (b) but haven't had to replace many of them as best I remember.

Relay wasn't cheap around $80.00 + socket, and extension strips.
But seems to be very durable, and was a fairly easy DIY project

jfolley67 uses a wavemaker of some sort with maxijets. Maybe send a pm. From what I saw in their 90, they did a nice job with the flow. Not sure which MJs they use, but I think they have at least 4 hooked up to it.
