was wondering how to know if your sea fan is photosynthetic or non?
I have not seen mine do muh change in light or at night. the polyps dont seem to open either way. its got bright blue polyps and is kinda twiggy looking. not many polyps on it at all

The famous Blueberry. No it is not Photosynthetic and I know no one who has been able to keep it alive despite unbelievable efforts. It is a true beauty though.

really the guaiagorgia is azoox and extremely difficultly to support according to the reports.

I would like to experiment with one.

Very nice. Good luck with it. My LFS still has it in his 600g display tank. He had it for more than 3 months now.
