I have 3 gorgs...my yellow one hardly ever has any PE these days, I feed 3 or 4 times a week...cyclopeez...but I don't ever see it eat cause it's polyps aren't out...my other 2 always has it's polyps out...and my yellow one used to. They are all non photosythetic, should I be worried...or is it possible I just never catch the poylps out cause I'm sleeping or at work ?

paramams are good...grow acros fine

I think the yellow ones need more feeding than just 3 or 4 times a week. Not sure how much flow you have for it, but I've also read they need alot of flow and darkness because apparently epiphytic algae is a real problem for them.

You might try feeding something juicier prior to adding the cyclopeeze. I dont have alot of experience with them, but something like DT's oyster eggs in the tank alittle while prior to adding the cyclopeeze might coax the polyps to come out. I would think doing this on a nightly basis may be necessary atleast until it gets accustomed to the feeding schedule.

I was doing it everynight then I read you can overfeed them...so I do it every other day now. I guess I'll try to go back to everyday. I feed oyster eggs too...but never one before the other like that...maybe I'll try that too

I dont think its going to be possible to overfeed a gorgonian in an aquarium, it would be easy to overfeed the tank however, and have bed algae problems.

I'm getting a phosphate reactor in the next couple weeks in case thats the problem...most of my sps is brown or green from starting to color uip...So I"m guessing I have some phosphates
