Gorilla Crab?!?

It started when I noticed I did not see my Potter's Angel this afternoon! I started looking all around the tank.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw something move...

OMG it is the farggin biggest crab I have seen in a Reef Tank. Definately not reef safe. It must have come in on my rock, and just grew bit by bit. Just so I am not over reacting, how big can an emerald crab get?

The question is this, how can I get the damn thing out without tearing my tank apart? I feel like buying the nastiest trigger I can get or a damn big mantis and letting them eat that SOB.

I will try a get a pic if I can....

Suggestions or ideas anyone?

I purchased some live rock from a friend and about two months later I noticed a very very large shell moving around the tank so I looked closely and it was a large brown hermit crab. I thought it would be OK and cool so I left it in there with my baby bamboo sharks and about one week later I couldn't find one of the sharks and noticed behind one of the rocks the crab was eating my shark. So I took the crab out and took it to my brothers for his large porcupine puffer to eat. The puffer ate it all right, right after the crab killed his snow flake eel so be careful with big crabs.:( :( :( :(

If it is possible to take the rock out where you know the crab is hiding, than pour hydrogene peroxide in the hole, it should jump right out. Hydrogene peroxide is harmless considering it's just water and oxygen. It will kill everything it comes in contact though, so bacteria or anything else will die, but probably come back. This is what I read in a book. I have no first hand experience.

I'd be afraid this crab would drink the peroxide and grow even bigger... but yeah I did get a good look and it is a Xanthid of some kind, Gorilla I think.

I might try the jar...
