Gorilla Crabs -- Where Is The Love?

So I got some TBS...and while admiring the rock in the tank, saw this boy hanging out.

You can also see a quick movie of the
Gorill Crab grazing
on the rock.

After doing a bit of research I thought it would be best to get him and the other crab (found two only) out of the display and into the sump/fuge. After hunting for a couple of nights I caught them. Look how cute they are:

I love my gorilla crabs! :D

We set up a mini aquarium for all our gorilla crabs and other unwanted hitchhikers. They are so cute! I can't imagine how some people can stab them in their holes. :[

after you add a new fish and you see it a few days later with no tail dying it gets easyer.... even if he was low cost it sucks to see him like that. :rolleye1:

or when you find empty shells and upside down corals that cost say $50 laying in the sand .... :eek1:

or your Tiger tail in the claws of one...

I have seen each....

DEATH TO CRABS! ;)

at least to *MOST* kinds in my tank!

Figured I would post a quick follow-up. figuerres, I have a new observation to add to the list of Gorilla Crab brutality.

I placed two Gorilla Crabs in my sump. Now there is only one.

The slightly larger of the two has grown huge. Both claws were of equal size going into the sump. , however, now one of the claws is significantly larger (I assume this is normal growth/development).

The other crab...well I found its remains. Not a molt...but the remains. The claws were torn off...so were the legs. Literally. I guess it must have been some territory issues in there. There is a probably 10 lbs of baseball size LR in the sump along with so chaeto. I guess that was not enough hiding room.
