That looks like Magilla gorilla to me. If he was in my tank, he would have a fork waiting with his name on it.

it's one of the Mithrax sp. crabs of which emerald crabs are members of. so it's probably mostly an algae eater, but I'd still pull it out, as some get over 8" across.
