Got a new Camera ...Thankyou

Just wanted to say thankyou to all posting here including the stickies up top. I purchased a Canon 60D with a Canon 24-105mm f/4L is usm lens. Reading posts here over a long time helped me to choose this combo foregoing the kit lens. I did do extensive research on-line into which lens was for me and approximate costs. Then took your advice in visiting the local photo shop to check out the feel of this setup and grill the sales person with questions. Although it cost me about $50 plus tax more they got my business. All I can say about this gem is WOW! Sorry I have no pictures to post because 1) i'm a novice and 2) i just took my tank down for an upcoming relocation.

Talk to the people at the camera shop about classes. In some cases they offer free classes after removing your arm for the camera. Have fun and shoot. Gigabytes are cheep. You can also learn lots here.
