Got a Purple tip BTA

I got a really nice purple tip BTA. It is beautifull, it is green and purple. I also have a pair of black and white clowns. They havn't hosted in it yet. Should I geive them more time? If not I might sell them and geta maroon clown. They seem to host realtively easily. The clowns are not full grown yet, so I don't know if that matters. I know this sounds kinda lame, But I am fascinated with clowns and anemones. I really want a clown and a anemone to pair up.

I am sorry I cant answer you question but how are your clowns behaving now? I just put my first clown in a few days ago and he just hangs at the top of the tank near the intake filter. He has eaten a little....In your experience is this normal?

yes it is normal... well my clowns did it the first 2 days... one ate but the other didnt.. and they hung out on the surface (they will also do so when a new member is added to the tank) you should feed live brine... or flakes surprisingly enough i have the best luck with the flakes for my clowns but when they wont eat that they will ALWAYS happily accept brine...

great advice thank you. the only food I have been using is a frozen angel fish food, I will get some brine and flake today. I am hoping to add some coral and anenome this weekend so maybe a BTA will make him happier as well.
