TIP:
carry a coffee can full of ashes in your trunk

See previous thread regarding disposal of the body. :D

Well, we've got ice here, about 1/4" of it. Dr, you were right, it hasn't stuck to the roads, I guess it melted after I saw it last night (that or I was just tired :D). It's supposed to snow and sleet and stuff all day and then tonight. Total accumulation for us is expected to be between 8-14"

I had to clean up my Grandfathers ashes once, they spilled in the attic, I thought it was dry wall dust or something. I asked my Dad what the hell it was and he was like "Oh that's George."
I replied "My Grandpa ?!" he said "Yeah, try and get most of that back in the urn, I was supposed to spread his ashes when he died but I never got around to it."

I then took the contents of the shop vac and went to our family lake on our property and spread them the best I could.

What were we talking about ?

yeah I heard its gonna be so bad, we might get 1-2" of accumulation

the whole area will shut down

why are you guys so worried about a couple inches of snow, the weather guys out here are forecasting anywhere from 6 to over a foot of snow in the next 24 hours....

It's sleeting cats and dogs here...sounds like bullets are hitting my house. It's sticking to the roads and everything too. They're forcasting 8-14" for me, but I heard earlier maybe up to 20" :eek1: I went to WalMart earlier today and bought snow stuff (shovel, icemelt, etc) and they were almost out of stuff.

You're the guy that stops on the way to Labor and Delivery because there's a tank in the lobby aren't you?

Let it do what ever it will out there. I'm off both today & friday with pay. Just went and did this weeks shopping, plenty of food now. Filled up both the HEMI & the BB (thats Bettle bug for those younens' like trottie) and I anit-ta gonna go outside but once. And thats to hear the preacher man say a few nice things about my grandmother before they lower her to her final restin' place. And I wont be doin' the drivin' either, I'm off work, so I anit drivin' nottin the wife is ( My eyes will be closed tightly as I don't want to see the ending coming @ me).

Well, the plaza that I work in is pretty covered. At least an 1" of ice/slush on the ground and it isn't slowing down. Bout time I can really test out the all wheel drive. I can launch my car from 4k in the rain without losing traction, so I should be ok driving cautiosly in this weather.

This is why I wish everyone would have to take a driving course every do often, then we wouldn't have to worry as much about R-tards on the roadway.

It's snowing!!! We've got 1" + on the ground :D Now if only MU would cancel class for tomorrow...

Just sitting here waiting for the power to go out. I've got half a hackberry tree hanging on the powerline to my house. Lights have been flickering a bit, generator is all hooked up and ready to go. I learned my lesson during the power outages last july. I guess Ameren didn't because their phone lines have been busy all night.

I went and wrote my name in the slush.... now I just have to find someone to eat it.....

Stay away from the brown acid and the yellow snow, ehh?!?

Woo Hoo! MU has cancelled class!!! We've got 14 inches here right now and are expecting up to 18.

We lost power at about 11:15 last night. I have a battery alarm clock I take camping so I set it for 2 hours and was going to go hook up the power inverter and at least run my main pump if power didn't return but when the alarm went off there was power again.

Lots of tree limbs down in the city but it wasn't too bad. However if the winds pick up like expected I am sure a lot of lines and trees will come down.
