Got my first SPS corals!

I just picked up 3 of my first SPS corals today from a local reefer. I got a digitata and an easier acropora and he gave me some sort of capricornis for free. I placed them in my tank a few hours ago so I don't know how they are liking my tank yet. The images below are of the owners SPS tank that I got my 3 SPS corals from, I think it is the most spectacular aquarium I have ever seen! He said he does almost no work on it, the aquarium takes care of itself! He said he can leave for a month and not need anyone to do anything to his tank. His tank is a custom 36 gallon. He has some EXTREMELY rare SPS corals in his tank.

The digitata is doing really well. However I'm a little worried about the acropora (no surprises there:mad2:) as it seems like it is lighter near the base, I can't really say if it looked like this when I bought it as it was a lighter shade of yellow acro to begin with. Is this normal for it to be lighter near the base?

Thanks,
Ethan

My digitata is not doing well either, (I guess I didn't look close enough) it has a little brown spot on the tip of one of it's branches, on another branch there is a bit of flesh peeling, And some of the polyps look a bit brown.
What should I do?

This is the brown spot.

This is the peeling flesh.

and these are the brown polyps.

It's difficult to determine if that lightening on the base we new growth or recession. You will find out in a few days.

As to spots on the Monti, pics would be helpful

Ok thanks, it's starting to open a few more polyps so that might be a good sign.

Sorry, I forgot to post a few pictures of the digitata, So I edited the post with some pics.

Digi looks like it might have been stung by something. The brown polyps are just shaded polyps and no reason to worry IMO.

Ok, I have a GBTA close to the digitata but it wouldn't be able to sting it from were it is, I also have a frogspawn around 3 inches away when fully extended during the day, I don't think it puts out feeder tentacles because I never see them at night.

Thank you,
Ethan

Got my first SPS corals!

It could also be from the previous tank or from during transport to your tank

I don't think it would be from the sellers tank (who knows maybe it was), but I could definitely see that it might have happened in transport.
