Got my new tank!!!!!

Well I picked up a 100 gal today. It's 48"Lx20"Tx24"D. I'll post pictures later. Starting on the stand tonight. WOOHOOO!!! It's going to be a reef.

Here you go. I started the stand. Still have to do the doors, trim, and stain.

Where is the sawed in half tape measure ? How do you plan to drill her? Going closed loop or power heads?

LOL no cut tape measures this time. Just thinking a few on the back pain. At least 2 drains with overflows and 2 returns. Maybe some for closed loops but might be pushing it.

Well I drilled the back of the tank today and worked on the stand some more. Here's some pictures.

That tank is gonna be sweet. Nice dimensions. What are you going to use for lighting?

I picked up a 4x54w T5 fixture. Going to use that and add another one if it's not enough.

Yep, that's how I roll. LOL!!! The only equipment I need now is a return pump and skimmer off the top of my head. I'm going to build the skimmer and have all the acrylic. Just time now

It was inevitable, at least you didn't drag it out. I fooled myself for almost two weeks.

Can't wait to see water in there, I'm sure this will be another beautiful tank.

Looking good. Hey red what happened to that tang you got from reef culture? I forget the name but it was pretty rare.

Well I never got a tang from reef culture. I got my tangs from AZseabottoms before they closed. I had a Whiteface not whit cheek and a Monrovia.

I really want to get a lot of my stuff back like one of my pink and green RBTAs, Black Pearl Palys, Highlight Acro, Hulk Acro, Pink/orange Yuma, and Hammer coral.
