got my pfos and dang. i see the light.. but only thing bad was:

the pendant didn't fit the bulb. it was too short. so i fixed it..

Glad you got some light now!

It is pretty common for DE lamps to not fit into the sockets. About the best thing to do is loosen up the screws on the sockets so they can move freely back and forth. They seem to receive the bulb much better this way.
