not happy with the color of the 20k 70 watt hqi but will have to do for now.

setup is for a 20 long with little giant 4 returning, skimming, uv, and reactor. had mag 24 in there but thought it was causing the bubble concern i had so i traded it for the little giant. pump is returned through a squid and there are 2 koralia number 1's on a wavemaker. lighting is 1 70 hqi 20k i think not blue like 20 but says its a 20k. 2 actinic pbs bulbs all run and electronic ballast. would like suggestions on what to change if needed

looks pretty blue to me but maybe its the actinics

Looks really nice - i am not handy at all and probably couldn't put something like that so cool together can't wait to see stuff grow in there

thanks. just call me mr over kill. the skimmer is not in the setup anymore. traded it out with george for a aquac remora and is now in the sump.

the skimmer works good. works better when i feed micro. won't know until i over kill with fish. lol

How'd you get rid of the bubble problem you were having?

it was sucking air in the intake side of the pump. i replumbed it 2 times with 2 different pumps and still had the bubbles. third time was a charm. neveer had that concern and i have plumbed alot of tanks. also the air leak was soo small it didn't show any water leaking when the system was off. and in such a small water column with this big pump it was worse than it actualy was.

Hey I really like the fact that you didn't use an overflow box! Looks great! Did you drill your tank yourself? What did you use to make the columns for the overflow? Id love to do this to my 29 id appreciate any info. advice you can give me! thanks
