Got pics of corals growing together?

Piper27

I love bengals
Show your pics of corals growing together, into each other or around each other. I am sure at least a few of you have some great shots. I haven't seen a thread like this yet so let me know if it's been done recently.

Some of these are touching.

No one has any good up close shots of corals they just don't trim and just let grow into each other?

Nice shot gon08 I hope the grafting works.

Man you have me noticing things I normally wouldn't really even think about much.

Thanks! That was last October, just the latest photo I had on Photobucket. All those corals were packed into a 75 gallon tank. I just moved the corals to a new 200 gallon tank 2 weeks ago. Toward the end I could't even get a scraper to some of the coraline and some of the corals were encrusting the front panel. I highly recommend regular fragging before it gets that packed. Here are the last pics I took before I broke it down.

That's amazing. Do you have any fish that can fit in there?

Not many fish. I have a purple tang (you can see part of him in the first picture), some chromis and a scooter blenny. I am planning on a few more with the new tank. My clam is pretty happy with the change.

Clam? Theres a clam in there? lol I bet that breakdown was troublesome. I wouldve loved to seen your face! Cause if youre anything like me, youd be lookin in there for a place to start then balking...now ok, dip my hand in here and do this one first, doh, ok maybe ill start over here nevermind, screw it ill do it tomorrow. :crazy1:

Congrats on your obvious success as a reefer! Bet that tank was amazing when the proportions were right! I hope you kept the same layout but gave extra depth as that looks quite good and natural. Bet once that green cap grows in over to the left that your tank would look even better! For me an sps tank isnt complete without the structural beauty of a good ol cap!

If this isn't the best tank I've seen, it's damn close. Shared your pictures on FB.

I love the pick of the coral out of water that is two different kinds grown together (at least it looks like it).

Thanks everyone! I found a FTS from January when I could still access the front panel with the scraper. The second picture is the green slimer trying to get out.
