Well... I've been dreaming of one day having a humoungous tank, over 300 gallons housing some of my favorite fish; Imperator, Clown and Huma Triggers etc... and last night at midnight my wish came true. A fella we know decided to bail out of the hobby and sell off his 300 Gallon tank and associated equipment. Being that this was his reef tank and I'm converting over to a swim tank, I have no need for some of the items that I purchased as a bulk buy.
And I'll pass on the great savings on these items to you. Here's the list of items I have and keep in mind that these are all less than 18 months old...
Qty (3) 400 watt Metal Halide Lamps / Ballasts with Reflectors
$350
1/2 horse Chiller (Current) with a Controller
$500
Aquatic Life Systems Sump BSM-400 (42x15x20)
$175
Live Rock (Awsome Condition) at least 200 pounds
$3/lb
The tank I'm keeping
Unfortunately it has a few very light scratches (it's acryllic...). Does anyone know how easy/hard it is to remove scrathces out of acryllic..? The tank is now empty and I plan to keep it empty until I get is buffed and polished..? Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
