Got Stuck or Went Hide to Die?

I had a Powder Blue Tang for about 4 months now and I found her dead this morning, stuck behind some decorative coral branches.

My tank is only about 6 months old. She seemed to be doing well last night. Looked good, eating well, swimming around. I tested my water about a week ago and everything was good. All other fish seem to be doing well.

Do yall think she may have had something wrong with her and went hide to die? Are Powder Blues known for that? Or did she really just get stuck?

Sorry if this was not the right place to post something like this.

Sorry for your loss.

What were you feeding?

I have an automatic feeder feeding a mix of flakes. Brine shrimp and Cobalt CA Mysis. I put a small piece of seaweed in a veggi clip about once every 2 days. I also have a "meaty" frozen mix from the local fish store that I rotate every other day with the seaweed.

for next time, if you choose to pursue another tang, you might consider having this available all the time. I can't say if it impacted your fish or not. in my experience they tend to do better with plant based diets.
