Sooo, I got everything set up and have the LS in there....Got three pieces of LR in to just start the cycling process, and I'm going to get more rock soon. I have a Skimmer/Filter system and a nice powerhead for a 15 gallon tank , soo I think it's going to work well. The only thing that I'm curious about is how long is my tank going to be cloudy?http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/1/12/630031/DSCN4979.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/1/12/630031/DSCN4978.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/1/12/630031/DSCN4976.JPG

Sorry about the HUGE pics hahaha, It's my first time posting pics and I guess they werent resized. THought they'd automatically resize themselves. But anyways, soooo It's Def a work in progress and I've got a lot to do in order to get it all working in tip top shape, but you get the idea. I need some words of encouragement haha, sooo throw me some love here please!

put a piece of felt or other dense fabric over the intake of your powerhead and let it run for a while. that cleared up my 30 gallon within the first two hours.
remember that if you add more live rock later your going to have another cycle

All right ,soo I'm totally confused on something. Because I have a small tank I know there is a lot that I cannot keep in it. What are some good fish ideas for the tank? And Are there any good sites that would give me some ideas of "Fish Pairings" that would be good for a 15 Gal tank?

if you haven't found it, www.nano-reef.com is geared more towards this size tank but does not get nearly the amount of traffic as RC does.
lgreen's Ultimate Nano Fish Guide is a pretty good reference for which fish you can keep. it is a stick in the beginner forum over there

Yay! I woke up this morning and went into the Living room.....The tank is pretty clear now! i can actually see the rock and the pumps seem to be working pretty well. Have great water circulation and it's warming up nicely. Sooo I didnt put a lot of rock in there , only like 10lbs worth so far, but have a question. I got this LR that they called Ball rock or something like that, I posted one picture of it at the beginning of this thread. It was very bright and colorful , pink and purple , and blue. ....But now it seems to have a lot of white spots on it. And I heard that the white spots were dead spots. Is this normal for it to turn white when you first put it into a tank?
