give me a break. i am a product of a UC school (UCLA) and my education was top tier. the bottomline is that you get back what you put into it.<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=7517131#post7517131 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by john37
i went to ucsd.....forget the uc system. i believe that a smaller private school is the way to go. depending on what you're majoring. it's more expensive but the education at UC's are terrible. i dont care what anyone says, i just finished at a uc and the profs at city colleges are way better. sorry, i'm just a little bitter.

when did you go there? not sure what your major was but for the bio program the profs were more focused on their research than their students. none of my physics profs could even speak english.

uc's are a lot different now. the costs went up so much it's not even that different from a private school
