Grand Nano Build (pics)

Man that sucks! Now I have to rethink my retirement plans cause montana is out of the question!
Hey Jess as much as I like 4 6 and 8 line wrasses the ones ive had were very aggressive to other wrasses.

Tony, Tone, Toni has done it again! :D

I have had a breakout of some sort of little snails so I was thinking that maybe the 6-line might be able to wipe them out. I don't think they are causing any harm, but I just don't like knowing that I have an infestation in my tank of any sort. Was thinking that if I got a very small 6-line, it would leave my Lubbock's alone. Any other ideas on snail eating fish? :)

Dude those And eight lines are great for that. Yeah I wish I would have talked to you earlier I saw some tiny ones at rhs.well you could try it since the lubbocks was there first. How are the tanks otherwise?

Damn, "WE" might have to make a drive out there sometime soon to get me a small 6-line. lol. The tank are both doing great, but things have been hectic lately so I have been neglecting both tanks a bit. Will be doing water changes today on both tanks so hopefully I'll be taking new pics or a short video today or tomorrow.

Tank is ok. I too will be doing a wc tonight the tissue has stopped Receiding. I put up a post in the fish disease forum and got some very helpful but confusing info so I've got a lot to try. Lmk when you want to go to reef Hot spot I'm always up for it. Ohh btw the eightline wrasse is known as the king of the bristle worms.

PICTURE TIME!!!!

PICTURE TIME!!!!

Ok, so after doing water changes on both my tanks yesterday I thought I would take some crappy pics with my crappy camera, so here you go :D
As you will see, I am battling a bit of a cyano outbreak...

Here is my latest addition, I know some of you will say that a nano is no place for an adult Emperor Angel, but I have always wanted to keep a fish in my nano that couldn't even turn around, it would just have to swim in place all day long

:p :p

Ok ok so it isn't in my nano, it's in my 225g...these next pics are from my big tank, some are blurry pics but they are meant to just give you an idea as to my fish selection, let me know what you think...also the Pearl bubble is the same one that I originally bought for my nano, but is now in my big tank and it's about the size of a softball :eek2:

Very nice fish.

If you're talking about the little pyramid snails...

I had some attacking my clams and the introduction of a six-line seemed to take care of it quite well. I only ever saw him with one in his mouth... but they disappeared and that was enough for me. Good luck!

Thanks for that info Rosseau, that's exactly what I have in my tank....would you happen to know if they also eat zoanthids because a couple of my zoos have been looking bad lately..

ok, just did a little research and these little bastards are the reason I have noticed some of my zoanthids slowly diminishing and wasting away :mad2: ....ok, so what else besides a sixline can get rid of these little bastards?

Thanks guys for the info...just as an update, after work I went to my LFS and picked up the last sixline and green wrasse they had...lucky me, hopefully a sign that these pests will be eraticated soon enough. Also picked up the last fish that will be going in this tank, a beautiful Flame Angel. Will post pics and video soon.

Hey what's up HS, my Emperor is a model citizen when it comes to my corals...I only have LPS and softie stuff and he leaves everything alone. Only thing I can't have in there are zoanthids because he WILL tear them up as he did with a couple frags I had a while back. And that was the reason for setting up my little tank, to have zoanthids that my Emp couldn't get to ; )
