The new store is going to be great. It is sorta like TP meets Atlantis. It is in a warehouse. There is a lot more room and lots more tanks. They just moved all of the display corals over on Thursday. My wife and I helped them do some of the plumbing in the new store. I think they are going to make a killing with their new place.
I just have to point out that I don't think they are expensive. If you look at rare corals then of course they will cost more. They have lots of well prices corals as well. The only reason they seem pricey is because they have some of the nicest corals out there. You can't compare the brown Acro colonies at 6th ave for $20 to the glowing blue mille colonies at Atlantis for $80. Apples and oranges.

I love Atlantis.
I live in Sac and I go out of my way to shop there. Can you get better deals--sure if you know where to look and spend the time doing so.
Don't forget Ming has some very premium corals like the Pink Lemonade and if you were lucky enough to get on his waiting list you will (hopefully) get a frag for $100 which is cheap compared to the e-bay auctions of hundreds of dollars that were going on and with Hugos colony and tank wiped out that coral just got even rarer.
Now are LE/premium corals in general overpriced is another question entirely. Like I said, if you got the time and contacts you can certainly score.

Yeah that was us. We noticed you as well. Too bad I didn't know who you were. Well we will probably be there again in a couple of days to help finish one of the tanks and possibly start another. Hopefully the store will be finished soon. I can't wait for them to get more stuff in for me to buy.
