Grass Valley?

Jeeper in my free time
It just occurred to me that I seem to remember something about a GV fish store.? I just got a job up there and the 1 hour lunches are boring. Is there something up there for me to look at and actually do something for an hour? If so let me know asap tomorrow is coming up fast and lunches are boing as heck!

When I worked off Streeter Rd in Auburn (near Lake of the Pines), we just went to the corner market and drank Natty Light and played hacky-sack during our lunch breaks. There wasn't much else to do up there 14 years ago!

PS: don't judge me by the Natty Light, I was 18 and didn't know any better!

There isn't much for quality or low prices up here, but there's 3 stores that carry SW. First is All Aquatics: 715 Maltman Dr. #2. Then Incredible pets @ 649 Sutton Way. Then the Pet Mine @ 762 Freeman Lane. Good luck finding anything that will impress you. By the way what do you have in your tank that you might want to frag/sell?

By the way. I can't judge because one of my favorite beers is PBR on tap.

You could visit me sometime for lunch if you want. There really isn't much to do up here. You won't be excited at all by our LFS selection. There is a new LFS due to open soon. The owners seem nice and they have a big fish room planned.

Matt,

Our martial arts school is starting a new project. It is called Many Acts of Kindness. The purpose of the project is to inspire and document thousands of acts of kindness in and around Grass Valley (Nevada County). To learn more about Many Acts of Kindness, visit the website at www.manyactsofkindness.com.

You could get creative and spend your lunch doing an act of kindness and then reporting on the blog.

If you are in Grass Valley and have time to kill, All Aquatics is worth a visit.
There is a really nice all you can eat chinese buffet next to the Raley's, Big A's has some awesome fats food as well. I would also reccomend Marias for Mexican food and the occasional my boss is a ***** margarita.

BTW where are you working? (if it's not a secret)

If you want a good lunch:
Afternoon Deli in the Kmart center
Ike's downtown Nevada City
Asian Garden in the B&C center

I work at Networked Insurance Agents in the IT dept. THe office is off of McCourtney right next to the Fairgrounds. I've driven around a bit, and there are definately lots of fast food choices to be had. Maybe monday i'll get around to hitting up some of the fish stores.
