Gravity fed auto-top off

What kind of mur-lok bulkhead would I need for a 5 gallon bucket? I want to use some left over 1/4 inch RODI line with the auto shut off valve that I got from BRS to make a gravity fed ATO.

May want to make sure your sump can handle all 5 gal plus whatever water goes in if your power goes out. Floats have failed, wouldn't want to hit the lottery and have it fail when your powers as out.

The sump could easily handle an additional 20 gallons above the normal water level. I have found 3/8 murlok bulkheads but no 1/4 stuff. Am I looking for the wrong thing?

Are you going trough the side or bottom. I don't think this would work for the side of the bucket because of the curve in it.
Of course u can always use a uniseal with a murlok adapter

I've been using a 5 gallon bucket with a john guest fitting. I just drilled npt threaded it and used thread seal tape. It's healed for many years now.
