I ordered a Paracheilinus attenuatus, and a Paracheilinus lineopunctatus on Friday. It came in on Tuesday and I was a very happy camper. The specimens are healthy and beautiful. I was so happy to be able to attain a Paracheilinus attenuatus, they are never out here in the US and extremely rare.

Sorry for the blurry pic here is my Paracheilinus attenuatus (flasher wrasse)

DeltecRules,

Thank you for the post and for including the great picture! We are always appreciative of these posts and are happy to hear that the two wrasse are doing well in your tank. We are also pleased that you were able to order the two specimens you were looking for as we try to provide a very wide range of fish and corals for our customers. Have a great evening!

Actually, I accidentallly ordered the same fish that DeltecRules did and mine were fabulous as well. So much so that I ordered the identical fish for my other tank. And thanks to Kevin Kohn for acquiring these rare flasher wrasses. And I was even able to acquire a female to go along with my male. Females are a rarity in the industry but highly sought after by true collectors. Good job DFS/LA

DeltecRules/snorvich,

Thank you again for your support and you are quite welcome! I am very happy that two very experienced and seasoned enthusiast were the ones that purchased the Paracheilinus attenuatus we had finally made available for the first time. These super rare flasher wrasse to the best of my knowledge have not been available in many many years here in the US until now.

I just want to point out that our entire staff here at Drs. Foster and Smith/LiveAquaria works diligently to make all of our customers shopping experience the best it can be. I alone cannot take all of the credit. It is a team effort from the great people in our call center and technical support who provide hands down the best customer service available anywhere, to our talented people in our creative department who keep our site looking spectacular, to the knowledgeable staff that handle and nurture some of the most rare fish and corals available in our Aquaculture Coral Facility. I am very fortunate to have the chance to work with an incredible group of people here at our company.

I hope you both enjoy your new fish for many years to come, and thank you again for your support.

Sincerely,
Kevin Kohen

Just wanted to add to Kevin's comments.

The customer service staff and all of the LiveAquaria employees, including Kevin, are the pride and joy of my 24 year long career. Of all of the niche markets that I have been involved with, selling livestock has been the most challenging but most loved.. To get a fish or coral from the ocean to the hobbyist is incredibly difficult and takes excellent people-- of which I am the least valuable.

As you may surmise from reading some of my posts, I am very passionate about the hobby, an insane perfectionist, and difficult to please, making an excellent match for my customers. Probably the veterinary surgeon in me. I am not sure that I would want to work for an owner like myself,--- and to think that these guys have done it for years, some of them more than 20. In that length of time, how many times have you heard me rant my slogan " GIVE THE CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY WANT AND THEY WILL COME BACK FOR MORE ". Customer service is really that simple.

Thank you to all of my employees and customers, I will never let you down,--- Not Ever.

As DeltecRules knows, we just lost a great LFS in the Chicago area that specialized in bringing in the rare specimens for us, so, I know I will be looking to you guys for that rare stuff now (and already have with great results, thanks Kevin and crew)!

Keep up the great work. :D
