I bought two new WWD's and a couple battery backups for my 240G and have to commend EcoTech on a great product. I will probably add one or two more down the road.
With that said; I do have a question. Do they really quite down after a week or so? I've had mine running in Reef Crest mode in Sync since Friday and they sound about the same as they did then. Maybe a little quieter. I have aligned and realigned quite a few times and have them to the point of no vibration and really no noise from the wet side. I mainly just hear the dry side. Is that what I should except? Both of them sound about the same. BTW I don't use the pin spacer as I have 3/4" glass.
I know my next item is on everyone's wish list. But how about a night mode? I know I can cut power to them using my DC8 and have them run on the batteries overnight but there should be a better solution. I'm sure EcoTech is working on something.
My EchoTech Wish List:
Night Mode
Central Controller
Again great product, thanks!
