Green Algae??

MagFloat for the glass. Water changes with a syphon for the gravel. I am assuming the tank is brand new and it might be going through a cycle, correct? Try to identfy the source of why it is growing and eliminate it. That is the best course of action. Test your water and post the findings here. If it is cycling you'll have to tough it out until the biological filter matures.

That is close enough to brand new.

Do you have live rock in the tank? If so, what is the tank size/total tank volume of water and how many pounds of live rock? How did you cycle the tank for the first month it was up? Is the tank overstocked? Are you over-feeding? What are your nitrate and phosphate levels? Do you run a skimmer or refugium?

Sounds like an Algae Bloom. Give it some time if it is a bloom or you can get some turbo snails and stick them on your glass.

3 months is brand new. It's part of the cycle. Just try to cut down on feeding a bit, and speed up water changes until it stabilizes. Lots of factors involved: skimmer, photoperiod, livestock levels, refugium, waterflow, and more. Turbos will help as suggested, but keep in mind that there's a tricky balance to achieve once they run out of food. Also keep in mind that the turbos are turning the film algae into waste products so water changes can't be ignored just because the sand and glass are bring cleaned up for you.

How large is the tank? I know on larger tanks you can expect algae blooms the first year or more.

Green hair algae is like cake compared to brown turf algae. Just feed a little less and do some water changes and suck what you can out.

I got that brown algae my army of tangs arent really taking care of it. which tang is most likely to do the job ?

How big is the tank, and how big are the Tangs? They could be producing enough waste to be adding to the algae problem in your tank.
