Some of you know I am new to Corals and have a Tank that has been waiting most of a year to mature before I buy Corals.
Well the other day I decided it was time and shopped at a LFS and bought basically a bargain 6 for 20.00 dollar deal. I also bought a bit larger Frag of Hammer for 25.
...and then i saw the most beautiful coral flowing I had ever seen. Like the others it was 15% off so 50.00 seemed pretty good for a Coral that I already liked the size. When retracted it looks like Brain Coral so I knew this was the size it would pretty much stay. It has a lot of tiny new tentacles in the center areas.
I was told it was an Aussi Goni...what ever that was. Oh Boy...so I started reading (Like I should have done prior to shopping) and found out this is a Flower pot Coral and as far as the green one goes , it will probably not last 10 months.
Mine looks like it has unusually long end bristles and seems EXTREMELY healthy. I post a Video and request any helpful knowledge I may need. I have placed it center and low in sand, low flow area (it flows with almost no current) . It is very very green almost neon.
I have also ordered some Liquid Life Marine Plankton w/ Cyclop-eeze 30ml to start some feeding. Any thoughts
