OK so I bought a Green Birdsnest Frag a few months ago. It took a ride for about 6 weeks on the frag rack up the side of my tank. After resting at the top, I planted it about 8 inches from the waters surface in the center of the rock pile..
It has been there for about a month and is about 1/3rd bigger from when I bought it. However I have noticed some loss of color...
Today I got my hands on a PAR meter and noticed about a 100 PAR difference between where it was on the frag rack and where it is epoxied in place for the past month. That explains the loss of color. I have since adjusted my lights down a bit but as the Birdsnest is in the center, it really does not drop much.
Since it has been there for about a month, I am hoping it will be fine there. It still shows signs of growth...
Any opinions would be cool...
