Green brittle star in fuge

I have a green brittle that has been losing it's arms (due to someone with a hankering for starfish arms).

Can I put it in my fuge and let it regrow it's arms?

I know you can but my fuge is only live rock rubble and some macroalgae. Would I have to spot feed it directly or would it be able to survive on whatever finds it's way down there?

It will be fine in your fuge as long as there's enough detritus for it to eat. An occasional chunk of meat to supplement its diet would be good.
