Just got my new addition today, had to do a frag job on both my frogspawns and give away a toadstool to make room. One question though do they inflate and deflate bubbles all the time or is it an acclimating thing?

This was today after my clarki clown dug a trench under it. Then it tipped right on the sebae anemone he must have been defending. What an idiot.

yeah--I can see where the upper part is not happy--probably stung a few times
other then that the bubble coral looks great--very healthy
start with it low in your tank and move it up gradually over a week or so and you should be able to find out what light it prefers
then you can glue it down with crazy glue gel so it doesn't fall over--I lost two bubble tips that way
How come the wives think this is such a great coral??
btw--it is healthy like that with the polpys swelled--unhappy when they have shrunk and you can see the exoskeleton

Capn, the anemone got the worst of it, hope it bounces back. The bubble looked much better before the crash. Clarki would need a whole crew to move it now. This is one my wife just had to have, I like it too, but not obsessed with it
