Ive had my GCA for over a year. and has been quit healthy but the last couple days he's been floating around the tank. he doesnt look like he's dying although he is faded in color a bit. Also hes not as sticky to touch. All test were good ( a lil high in nitrates). He's kinda shaped himself to look like a bowl. What could be wrong with him
Tank is a 35 with live rock pc lighting.

Obviously something is wrong with your tank otherwise your Haddoni would not be floating around. Do you have other corals in your tank? Do you run carbon and how often do you feed your carpet. I am assuming you have a S. Haddoni.

Yes i have zoo's mushrooms and xzenia in the tank whih seem to be fine.
Would it be possible that its splitting? the way it's shape kinda looks like one and a half anenome

I have never heard of a carpet anemone splitting before. There have been documentations of carpets budding, but never splitting. Do you dose your tank with additives? When is the last time you did a water change?
