hi, i got first new fishes for my new reef tank, 4 green chromis. Currently they are in quarantine tank eating aggressively, they have been with me for about a week and they were in the store for a week (and were treated by some medicine in the store) so my question is how long should i keep them in the quarantine and what signs should i look for and if any treatment is necessary (like copper or something).thanks

Those chromis will most likely kill each other until you only have one, especially in a 30g. Green chromis actually don't school and will fight to the death, unless kept in MASSIVE tanks.

A minimum of four weeks. Chromis are highly susceptible to uronema and if the LFS ran a non-therapeutic dose of copper (many do) it can mask a parasite such as velvet, ich, brook, uronema.

should I treat them with copper, hypo salinity or any other medication.

I believe in treating all fish with tank transfer to eliminate ich and prazipro. If parasites exhibit behavioral or visible symptoms, then you can decide what to treat them with.
