Green Clove Polyps

those were kind of common about three years ago... now i haven't seen them anywhere

they are awsome though

I have some similar with green centers but don't look as nice as those. they haven't done good either, they've dwindled to about 5-6 polyps over the years.

I do have a nice size colony I am supposed to get my new camera today I will take pics and post and also decide if I can part with a few. I found them at beldts, they had a sale going I think I paid like 20 bucks for about 30-40 polyps. I will also be going to beldts today so if I see some I will let you know.

I went to beldts and they have some huge colonies for $40 $50 I would imagine around 60 or more polyps per rock and a few with less.

Yes they were pink with a green center just like the one I purchased from there a few months ago. I would post a pic but I have recently aquired a new camera and I dont have my software installed yet, If i install it before you make it there I will post some.

those are close, but not it.

the ones in the picture that are being sought after are usually rather large, and very hard to find. you would most likely pay by the polyp for them also... not big 40-60 polyp colonies

Ok so is what I have more of a Flower polyp or does a Flower=Clove? Or are they the same family just different shape and color?

Yours are commonly called Daisy Polyps and definatly more common and a fast grower. The others are clauvaria - Neon Green cloves and a slow grower for most.

Actually they're the same size, the ones from vivid are just your typical green cloves.
