Green Element Evo mod question

I try to do a mod for my Green Element Evo 60". Does anybody know the location of the diode that connect the white n blue led? Like the one with Marineland reef led.

Try to finish a project but got stuck on this...

I figured it out; there are 6 diodes (3 on each end) that need to be removed to controlled the white led and blue led independently.

here are the pic

Great job on the mod! Just to clarify, you just removed the 6 diodes and then when you put the switch on mode 1 it was blue and mode 2 makes it only white?

leds

leds

Do you think the 3w leds on the green evo could be replaced with any of the leds for sale on rapidled? I would love to use this light but the blue/white ratio definitely needs some work. I have seen an old post where someone switched out the leds on a smaller green evo fixture with a gooseneck but the leds were not 3w and he did not mention which leds he used to do the mod.

I currently have the evo 3w clip on, I bought a 3w uv led from ebay just to try see if I can change it. I'm just waiting for it to arrive then try solder it on. I'll keep you posted Sleepiness.

I would really appreciate the intel. I have had this light for a little over a year now and it has just been lying around since I got my t-5 fixture.
What is the color ratio on your green evo? The fixture I have is 3:1 white:blue. If the mod works are you planning on switching out more leds?
If it does not work, I was just going to buy a supplemental actinic kit and figure out a way to attach it one on each side. I would much rather switch out the leds if possible. Thanks again for the reply, its hard to find any technical information on these things...just trash talk.

Ive got the 12 inch one with 6x 3w LEDs with 2x Blue in the middle. My goal is to see if I can put other LEDs in it because I dont like the ratio. Im going to take out one of the blue ones and put in a UV 390nm 3w led in its place. If that works I might buy another fixture and change the LEDs in that one as well.

What i really would like to know is, if its possible to change which lights the switch controls.

I am not trained as an electrician but I am sure it can be done. You would have to know a lot more about it than I to accomplish that for sure.
