Green film algae

My tank has slowly been growing a strange green film algae, which reminds me of Cyano? It kind of blankets the rock like Cyano, but not as fast. It also blows off the rocks easily with a turkey baster, but will be back on the rock with in a day or 2.

I do get green film algae growing on the glass after about a week, but its not the same stuff. The stuff Im concerned with is a much brighter green and thicker.

Im unsure of what it is and how to get rid of it. I have tried large water changes, installed a larger reactor (which was needed anyways). My water parameters have been consistently the same for the past year. Nitrates are always about 10ppm and phosphates about .01-.06. If a picture is needed I can snap one tonight when I get home.

Cyano can certainly be green/blue too.. Its not always "redish"..
In fact "cyan" = blue.. cyan = greek word kyanos = blue
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanobacteria

treatment is the same..
reduce nutrients/dissolved organics/siphon it out/reduce lights or 3 day lights out,etc...

For me this is the "Cyano time of the year" as it comes in my tanks in the fall regardless of nutrient levels,etc...
I just tried chemiclean for the first time (have used red slime remover in the past) and was very happy with the results of chemiclean.. I used slightly less than the recommended dosage and just did it once and it just dissolved away in about 2-3 days.. totally gone..
Everything in the tank seems just fine..
