Green Frogspawn turning brown

I started up a new tank (1.5 months old) and have much brighter lights than my older tank. I have tried moving my frogspawn around, but my green frogspawn has been slowly turning brown and doesnt seem to be opening as large as it used to. Is it dying?

Where is it situated? If you have upgraded your lights then you need to acclimatise them. Move it to the bottom to one corner and slowly introduce back into the light over a period of time.

Well that is the weird thing. I had it at the top of the tank when I started it up and moved it after to mid tank about 3 weeks in, to place a different coral in its spot. After that it just doesnt seem as happy. Should I move it back to the top?

it could be bleaching. If its not happy I would move it back and keep your eye on it. Just check your parameters maksure there all in line.

Are you losing any part of the head on where it is turning brown? I would do a closer check, to see of it has any signs or brown jelly disease.....

Nope Im not losing any part of it. I actually moved it back to the original spot in the tank (near the top) and the green color has come back. I guess it didnt like being in the middle of the tank. The individual arms of it where turning brownish and blah looking. But no fear it is not a happy coral again.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
