Green Hair Algae Bad...Solution Good

Hey all, am currently have a bad case of green hair algae in my tank, on the back glass specifically...any reccomendations as to how to get rid of it or anything? im notr sure where it even came from any suggestions or comments as to why it may have started? im doing my regular r/o water changed each month, so im not sure...any help is appreciated!

more info about the tank would be helpful to know, water parameters, bioload, feeding routine, etc..... GHA is usually a sign of phosphates, nitrates, or fish.... fish=poop=GHA.
