Green Level LED Remains Lit

Hello Roger,

The Green Level LED remaisn lit on my Osmo 3155 (5017 Controller) evern though it is completely dry and clean...the controller will not turn on the pump . If I switch off then back on , the pump turns on for a bit as usual butteh Green LED never turns off


Does the entire 5017 unit need to be replaced? is this repairable?

Usually this means the optic sensor has gone out, that would be repairable, but it is also possible the relay or another component has failed which may or may not be repairable, I would say it is greater than a 75% chance this can be repaired. Send it in-

Roger,

After the orginal post , I soaked the sensor in vinegar for about 3 hours even though it seemed perfectly cleand and clear to me...it then worked however when I checked on it last night and this morning it had not sensed any change sin water level.

I will send it to you this week with a copy of this exchange in the box
